Hearts and Flowers Afghan

It took me a year to crochet this afghan. The yarn is Paton's Astra in Aran. Now for the fun part - the cross stitch. Compared to 36 count, this seems huge.

French Alphabet Sampler

I must say that I have been neglecting this piece while I have been shopping for more material and patterns for my stash. I must get back to this beautiful piece. It is an anniversary gift for friends of mine that will have been married 5 years this July. Nothing like pushing myself to see how much I can get done in a short period of time. This piece is done on Antique White 36 count Edinburgh with Topiary Gloriana thread - 46 yards.

Anagram Sampler Ronde

I just started this piece on March 2, 2006. The picture does not do the NPI colors justice. The material is on 32 count Flax Belfast. The thread is NPI silk color with number 503 for the red and number 991bb for the white. I love the way the red shows so many dimensions. Nordic Needle told me that 3 skeins of the red would be enough for the whole Ronde sampler and 2 skeins of the white...we shall see. On to stitching...
