Quaker Virtues - Woodsmoke

This Quaker Virtues is stitched on 32 count Flax while using Woodsmoke.  It is truly beautiful.

Quaker VIrtues - DMC 814 perle 12

I am starting to love this piece as well.  I may end up keeping it.  The red and navy colors are much richer than this picture.  This is stitched on 32 count Country Mocha with DMC #814 perle cotton.

Bramble and the Rose

This fabric is on 32 count antique white Lugana which looks white.   I'm starting to love it more and more.  I can't wait to give this to that special person.

Friendship Quaker

This is stitched on 32 ct French Country Latte linen.  I am stitching it with DMC 796 thread.  It is a beautiful royal blue thread.

Rose Quaker

This pattern is stitched on 40 count antique white.  The fabric is like gauze.  It is really easy to stitch on , and Rose Quaker is one of my favorite patterns.

The Bramble and the Rose

This is how far I have gotten on The Bramble and the Rose.  I took the picture inside my car....lol  It was 60 on Sunday.  What a beautiful day.
I bought a 5" Darice hoop and I absolutely love it!!!  It fits so tight on the material, and it is really lightweight. I just ordered the 7" hoop from 123 Stitch.  I wish that they made a bigger size in the same product.

Bramble and the Rose

Slowly poking along on The Bramble and the Rose.  It is an easy stitch, but I just never seem to have the time or the energy to stitch.

A little progress was made last night.  This is an easy and fast piece to stitch.  Apparently, it is not  fast enough....lol

Quaker VIrtues Woodsmoke

This piece is Quaker Virtues in Woodsmoke.  I am stitching it on 32 count Flax material.  I ordered 19 skeins of thread for this project.  I am hoping that it is enough for completion.  It is beautiful!!

Here is my Quaker Virtues update!  I'm still on page 1, but I'm moving along slowly.  So little time; so many projects to complete.

Quaker Virtues

This is my weekly posting of Quaker Virtues.  I love stitching on this, but the DMC perle tangles so easily.  Hopefully, I can complete this by October.

Topaz Glass Beads

This is such a beautiful piece when the light hits the beads just right.  I can see some of my quilt bedspread in the background of the fabric.  I need a better photo of this.

Forget Me Not with Gloriana thread

I have a mistake in here but I can't figure out where....going to have to do some frogging.

Scarlet Riband Gloriana Cranberry

I'm making this for my mom.  She turned 95 on Friday.  I hope that she lives long enough for her to see it completed.

ABC Marquoir 36 ct Flax

A slow start to this piece and yet I was so excited in the beginning.  There are so many other new pieces to enjoy....lol

ABC Marquoir Gloriana Blueberry

A piece that really needs to be finished.  I should enter this one in the county fair.
